# Dashboard Access

Describes how to enable the display of Dashboard items to the User.

When a User logs in to the Web Application, the Menu tab contains a [Dashboard](/docs/introduction/getting-started/finding-your-way-around-the-web-app/untitled.md) which displays information relevant to the User and their Role. The information that is displayed is unique to each Role and is set in the in the **Role** window, **Dashboard Access** tab found in the **System Administration > General Rules > Security** menu. This is a simple tab that involves adding records and selecting the desired ***Dashboard Content***  to display.
